BeachNut starts a step earlier. It scores 250+ Florida public beaches and re-scores them through the day — tide swing, wind, swell, recent conditions — and tells you the best window to walk. Then it identifies what you pick up: shells, shark teeth, fossils, sea glass, sea beans, beach pottery. Then it keeps the find, geotagged, in a collection you can look back through.
If you hunt teeth and nothing else, a teeth-only app is a clean tool. If you walk a beach and pick up whatever the tide left, BeachNut is built for that walk.
